Senior Choir performance at St. Paul’s College Easter Service

The St. Paul’s College Easter Service was held at St. Stephen’s Church on the 22nd of March. Our Senior Choir has given a captivating performance, a rendition of “Via Dolorosa,” composed by Billy Sprague and Niles Borop.

We are grateful to the staff of St. Stephen’s Church for their assistance in arranging this performance. Such an honor to have our principal Mr. Yuen, teachers and fellow schoolmates to join us in celebrating the birth of Christ.

2024 St. Paul’s College Singapore Music Tour

The St. Paul’s College Concert Band will be embarking on an incredible tour to Singapore 🇸🇬to participate in the prestigious 🎷Singapore International Band Festival🎺!

The competition will take place at the YST Conservatory of Music Concert Hall on the 25th or 26th of July 2024. There will be a grand finale – the Gala concert on the 28th of July 2024, where we will join other talented musicians in celebrating the power of concert band music.

2024 St. Paul’s College UK Music Performance Tour

We are thrilled to share another exciting news with you. Our orchestra, will be performing in three amazing cities in UK 🇬🇧 spreading the joy of music. During the tour, we will present three public performances in three cities:

1️⃣ 6 Aug at Stoller Hall, Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester

2️⃣ 7 Aug at Trinity College Chapel, University of Cambridge

3️⃣ 10 Aug at Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, Royal College of Music, London 💂🏻‍♂️

All friends of SPC, especially parents and alumni, are cordially invited to come and support us during these performances. Ticketing details will be announced soon. Looking forward to seeing you there!

St. Paul’s College Spring Concert 2024

Thank you to all the parents, teachers, and friends who came out to support the talented musicians at the concert last night. Your presence and encouragement mean a lot to these dedicated students.

A special thank you to Principal Mr. Yuen who encouraged the music students all the time. We also want to thank our guest performers from the Good Hope School choir for adding their beautiful voices to the event.

Service for the Conversion of Saint Paul

St. Paul’s College always has a strong connection with St. Paul’s Church since it’s foundation. The School Choir is honoured to perform in the Service for the Conversion of Saint Paul today morning at the church. Principal Mr. Yuen also explained the history of the church and the college during the service.

We would also like to thank members of the School Council and Principal of SPC Primary School, as well as parents and alumni for coming to attend this meaningful service.

2024 Spring Concert Promo

The St. Paul’s College Music Department is delighted to announce that our school musicians have achieved great success in the 76th School Music Festival. To celebrate and showcase the music talent of our students, the Music Union is organizing an evening concert – St. Paul’s College Spring Concert 2024 next Friday, 22nd of March at the school hall beginning from 6:30pm.

Date: 22nd March, 2024

Time: 18:30 – 20:30

Venue: SPC School Hall (Secondary Section) – 69 Bonham Road

Suggested donation amount: $90 (adult) $40 (students under 18)

Our school ensembles, Junior & Senior choirs, concert band, orchestra and ensembles will offer a 90 minute music programme with an intermission. We will present a series of classical renditions, along with two choral works by two local young composers, 廖梓丞 and 賈無弦.

You are cordially invited to attend and support our school musicians. Walk-in tickets will be available at the entrance with two suggested minimum donation amounts: $90 (adult) $40 (aged under 18). This donation will mainly be used in the celebration dinner of the school musicians who participated in the School Music Festival, and the future music development of the school.

Cash payment is preferred. No change will be provided.

Season greetings from School Junior Choir at The Peninsula HK

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Yuen our school principal, the School Council, all teachers who always take care of all kinds of students’ need, and parents for their immense support in making our junior choir’s performance at the Peninsula Hotel a resounding success! 🎉🎵Special thanks to Peninsula Hotel for providing this great opportunity for the young boys to spread the seasonal love to the public.

The choir’s incredible performance was made possible by their unwavering guidance, encouragement, and dedication. Their melodic voices and vibrant performances brought joy and a festive spirit to all. 🎶✨

SPC 170th Anniversary Celebration Dinner

The string quartet team of St. Paul’s College was honoured to present an 2-hour list of music before and during the anniversary dinner. Their performance recalled so much fond memory of our Alumni, as music is an inevitable part of school life for every St. Paul’s Boys, regardless of when we graduated.
