Piano Masterclass with Dr. David Mooney

The piano masterclass was held successfully on 11th October 2018. We were honoured to have Dr. David Mooney to conduct this masterclass. He is currently the head of Department of Keyboard Studies in DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, and came to Hong Kong to organize masterclasses and student concert.
Four of our piano music scholars were coached by Dr. Mooney, they are: 1A Michael Wong Chit Yu, 1B Enoch Wong Kwan Chai, 4D Jeremy Ng Chun Ying and 5A Desmond Lau Kin Hei. Other music scholars also came to support their schoolmates and learn from Dr. Mooney’s lessons. Dr. Monney gave around half an hour of tutorials to each pianist and his teaching was inspiring which provided more aspects on analyzing and interpreting the music.
Special thanks to Mrs Zai for taking photos for all the participants.
